Get to Know Shannon
Shannon, one of the owners of Crop, has had a lifelong passion for hair. Although she’s been in the industry since 2005, Shannon sometimes feels like she’s been doing hair for practically her entire life—starting in her middle school years. Her bread-and-butter is creating lived-in, long-flowy hair looks. Whether through free-painting balayage, teasy foils, or traditional root touch-ups to cover those wisdom streaks, Shannon is sure to bring your confidence through the roof. When she’s not at the salon, you can usually find Shannon enjoying her favorite local restaurants, jamming out at a concert, or traveling the world. Shannon's journey has taken her from Paris to LA to New York City, cultivating her style and helping her perfect her craft. Both at home and the salon, Shannon adores quality time with her goofy golden retriever, Tucker (the unofficial mascot of Crop).
What Shannon enjoys most about her job is building relationships with her clients. Each day at work feels like catching up with old friends, and she considers herself truly blessed for that. She co-founded the salon with Lisa at the age of 26, and has never looked back. Building their dream team together has become a passion, and sharing the knowledge gained not only behind the chair but in life has been a remarkable part of their growing careers.
